The Shtoom Doctrine

The definition of the word shtoom is 

shtoom, shtum, shtumm :

slang silent; dumb (esp in the phrase keep shtoom)

The Shtoom Heresy is prevalent in many Protestant, and Messianic Jewish assemblies, and the like, but the Eastern Orthodox are doing the same thing now.

 

In Protestantism, and in the Judaising cults, the heresy is basically to carve themselves a slice of the cake, by forming what really amounts to a religious social club, a mutual admiration society, where they collect their donations, and enjoy pats on the back from their congregation. The women in these churches are often treated like models in a dating agency, "given" only to the most loyal sycophants to the pastors and elders, in other words treated like a commodity, and all fake churches have this practice including Orthodoxy. In order to preserve their status and donations, the last thing these false teachers want to do is to openly tell their doctrines to people enquiring into them, so they do the same thing as the pharisees, they "keep shtoom" quote:

 

"And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell." Mark 11:33

The worst example I can think of is those in the Judaizing Cults, or  Messianic Judaism, who often will not even tell you who God is in their theology. They are often willing to outright deny the Holy Trinity, but after that refuse to answer enough questions to clarify if they are supposed to be Sabellianist, binitarian or unitarian. Essentially theologically they do not even have a God. They stay shtoom, and that way the cash register still keeps ringing.

Make no mistake the Shtoom Heresy is both a heresy and a poisonous practice. Indeed the word "poison" is a good parallel. Many poisoners have been caught by unguarded slips of the tongue, or giving out "too much" information. When people practice the shtoom heresy I personally hope God will deal harshly with them, both now and on the Day of Judgement.  When this stonewalling tactic is used they are trying to isolate their victims from all help, and the ability to realise that they have false pastors.

The Eastern Orthodox teachers are becoming less and less transparent about their teachings, as their doctrines are falling apart. You do not see any "Ask an Orthodox Priest" walls or websites where they actually answer all reasonable questions. Their websites are starting to become shtoom. They are stonewalling. There are plenty of videos on YouTube about Eastern Orthodoxy for instance, but no one answers questions, and many disallow comments. On FaceBook they ban anyone from proving points. Their whole way of operating is different from Catholics. They are essentially a defensive false church, more interested in keeping and destroying those they "have" than expanding, whereas Catholics want to continually expand and as such the Catholic variation of the Shtoom Doctrine is more keeping their Inquisition Archives closed to the public.

You never see me practicing the Shtoom Heresy. I am upfront, open and exact in my doctrines. They are  on my websites to read clearly in explicit detail. But the Eastern Orthodox teachers are dodgers, stonewallers, buriers, hiders, forever in disguise, lurkers, chameleons, wearing masks, tucked away, doctrine smugglers, always wearing a cloak and hiding in the shadows, inexplicit, clearly deceivers, continually oxymoronic. This is why the Oxford English Dictionary is utterly full of Roman Catholic theology words, and huge numbers of basic words from Eastern Orthodoxy are absent. For such words to be in the OED the Eastern Orthodox would have to actually define something for once in their lives, but instead they couch in obscurity and hide from the light. Jesus said:

"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." John 3: 19-21 .

The Eastern Orthodox teachings are evil, thus they love to stay in the darkness.
