45) Epiklesis

45) Epiklesis - is a different thing than metousiosis (the Orthodox version of transubstantiation) but is always connected to it. It is the invocation of the Holy Ghost to partake in the witchcraft of the blasphemy of the mass.

( sacerdotal )  ( salvation )  ( sin )

It can be argued that Epiklesis is the number 1 most terrible heresy of Orthodoxy, as Epiklesis is in fact blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, and thus it is the doctrine of "salvation by blasphemy of the Holy Spirit" truly an abomination to God.

Keith Green in one of his songs called "I don't wanna fall away from you" points out that there are two sins, one blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (that is an unforgiven sin - as it entails a heart so hardened the person will not repent, rather than being unforgivable) and secondly the separate sin of grieving the Holy Spirit. The fact that so few Orthodox priests ever repent and accept Christ as Saviour is probably an indication they are blaspheming the Holy Spirit in their hard hearted deliberacy of committing this sin of trying to involve the Holy Ghost in their cheap fake magic trick of the Orthodox version of the mass.

Post-reconciliation schism:

Critics of the reunification argue that "the hierarchy in Moscow still has not properly addressed the issue of KGB infiltration of the church hierarchy during the Soviet period."

( so.... you are potentially confessing

your sins to the KGB / FSB or FSS in America,

as Russian rules over the USA church jurisdiction in Orthodoxy!!)
